Microsoft Loopback adapter and Vista Ulitmate SP1 with Virtual Server R2 SP1

Message:

Hi,

I have MS Virtual Server R2 SP1 installed on my Vista Ultimate laptop
and use this configuration for hosting VM's for product demos and
testing.

I installed the MS loopback adapter on the host and connected the VM's
to this so that they could network with the host and access the
internet via a shared internet connection on my LAN adapter.

This all worked 100% until I installed Vista SP1. In the past, I
could set the Loopback Adapter to be a Private network and this
allowed the client VM's to see the host without a problem.

After installing Vista SP1, the Loopback adapter keeps changing back
to a public network, which prevents the client VM's from seeing the
host machine.

I have tried everthing I can think of to maintain the Private network
status, but it keeps "identifying....." then reverting back to public.

Does anyone have a solution or workaround?

Thanks in advance.

Chris
