Hello,
I've got a little DOS game poker. Seems that I can't start it and cannot
see the splash screen.
No screen, "sizzling salami (not well described :D)"/hissing sound then
hangs
Just some poker game..... ha ha you know the rest.

If not, put it in -- and that may make all the difference..

Start the game .exe from a batch file -- I know what will make a "hissing
sound" like that.
Check retcodes if you can.

Make sure that you have the file in that path, or if a different path, use
that path. If your DOS does not have it, it should be on the web and you
can download all 9k of it.........

If you actually want any help, you could start off by providing:

1) the host OS
2) the host RAM
3) the host CPU
4) the guest OS
5) the guest RAM
6) whether you've installed the Additions or not
7) the name of the app which isn't working
8) a sensible description of the problem
