Hello and thank you for your time -

New to the virtualization scene - essentially I would like to create a VPC,
put it on a network share, and provide the link to the VPC. This is for a
training environment - so we may have 10 - 20 users running the VPN over the
network share at a time.

1) Possible?

2) I have seen information about differencing disks and I believe I will
need these in order to use a shared VPC - but I cannot find a how to guide or
any details aside from a definition as to what differencing disks are. The MS
whitepaper basically defines the terms but does not tell you how you would
implement VPC 2007.

From what I understand I can create a VPC, copy the VHD file, rename the VPC
/ run newsid to make copies of the VPC - however I cannot find any guide as
to how I would setup a differencing disk or how I would setup a shared VPC
for multiple users.

I really want to use VPC and have management excited about the possibility -
but I am not having much luck in finding How To guides for setting up a lab.

Any help or guidance you could offer is greatly appreciated. My first
Virtual PC is vanilla XP only with patches - saved to my shared drive - now
what?
