Display problems

I have a Vista Ultimate in a VM on my notebook which has a display setting
of 1280 x 800. If I open the Vista VM and set the display to 800 x 600 it
will stick and open at that size everytime. After I install the VM
Additions and restart it will open at 1440 x 900. I can then reset the
display to 800 x 600 and restart the Vm and it goes right back to the 1440 x
900. Also noticed that Right Alt + Enter does not give me full screen. My
XP VM's work fine. Is this a bug with Vista VM's?
