I am running Vista Home Premium. Trying to load Windows 95
OS. I boot the VM with a Win95 boot disc (3 1/2" floppy) but
can't access the CD ROM drive or Win95 setup disc. My CD ROM
is a DVD multi recorder that supports the Win95 setup disc
format.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Is the emulated cd drive capturing the cd? With the cd in the drive, use
the drop down menu for the emulated cd drive to capture the physical cd
drive.

Have you run fdisk and format from the setup floppy? You need to make sure
that the cd driver is loaded into the vm (this should be loaded after you
boot with the floppy) and change directories to the emulated cd drive and
run Setup.

Try the VPC 2004 virtual machine additions. Win95 is not supported by the
VPC 2007 vmadds but is by the vmadds in VPC 2004. You can download the 2004
vmadds .iso file from http://vpc.essjae.com/
