Could not log in using domain account

Message:

Hi,

I installed a Windows XP Pro SP2 in a virtual machine in VPC 2007 to use as
development environment for legacy development tools.
So, I joinned my domain and use my domain account in that computer (VM).

It worked fine the first times, but after 5 or 6 times that I logged on it
starts showing an error message at log on saying:

"Windows cannot connect to the domain, either because the domain controller
is down or unavailable or because your computer account cannot be found"

I log on without problems using the local administrator account, and could
see that wasn't any problem with network or with access to the domain
controller.

I looked at the local administrators group, where my account should be, and
saw my account SID without my name.
I removed and add it again (yes, there was no problem getting the account
check from the domain controller) and it showed with my domain name, plus my
login name and the SID! When I click the apply button my name disapears and
only the SID remains!

Any ideas what happens?
Is it possible to use domain accounts (and join the VM to the domain) in VPC
machine?
How can I get access again with my domain account?

Thanks,
Pedro Gonçalves
