I am installing xp VPC on vista home. However the VPC is not booting from the
CD rom. I searched all forums and tried everything possible, suggested by the
readers. But I am still getting "Reboot and select proper boot device
or insert boot media in selected boot device" message. CDrom is the priority
on the boot sector and I even captured it from the bottom left of the VM.
Still no luck. Please help.. I am desperate. Thank

You have to capture dvd drive on the host with the virtual machine and then
reset the guest. Use the drop down menu on the emulated cd drive on the
guest (lower left corner of the vm console window) to "Use Physical Drive
x". You reset the guest from Action Menu in the top left of the vm console.
