Reach the webserver of the guest system from the host system

Source: microsoft.public.virtualpc
Sent: 01/14/2008
From: Joerg M.
Message:

Hi,

I am working with Microsoft Virtual PC 6.0

Host: Windows XP Home, SP 2
Guest: Windows Server 2003, SP 2

I installed a webserver on the guest-system with microsoft sharepoint
services 3.0
the webpage is reachable on the guest system with the url http://joerg/ or
http://"ip-address"

Working in the Guest-System with additional software is a bit slow. So I
would like to get a connect from the host-system to the web-server at the
host-system.

Especially:
Type in the URL http://joerg/ or the additional one with the ip-address in
the internet explorer of the host-system, then it shoul connect to the
webserver of the guest-system.

when i type in the url http://joerg in the internet explorer of the
host-system, the explorer routes to www.joerg.com.

How can I solve the problem, to reach the page on the webserver of the guest
system?

Thanks

Joerg
