I am i nstalled VP on XP,
It asks for a operating system.
can i use DOS- downloaded from net- Named Free Dos? if i use the free dos
dose its licence violation ?
Or a Win 98 Which i already used its also legit. but i am not using it now a
days.? but original files keys all remains with me.

Also i have a doubt. i wana know the validity period of the s/w licence ?
for how many years ?

Where can i get all this info is there any website availble to know all
about this ?

Yes you can...

The licensing would be no different to installing FreeDOS on a physical
machine...

Yes, that will be fine so long as it's a full retail version and not an OEM
version, which can be used only on the hardware that it originally came
with - exactly the same as with a physical machine...
