Problems after enabling Hardware Virtualization (VPC2007)

Hi,

I just started using VPC 2007 on a new machine that I just built that
has an AMD Athlon X2 5200+ CPU. My earlier system used a non-dual-core
AMD Athlon, so, now that I have the Athlon X2, which supports hardware
virtualization, I started enabling "Hardware Virtualization" in my VPC
guests' settings.

I noticed a couple of problems:

- The same guests run VERY slowly when "Hardware Virtualization" is
enabled. For example, if I startup a guest that has it enabled, you can
actually see the first (white) Windows page paint itself, from bottom to
top. If I disable "Hardware Virtualization" in a guest, then start it,
that same page just appears.

- If I have a guest that has "Hardware Virtualization" enabled running,
and then try to then watch a DVD (using either Media Player 10 or, what
I normally use, Media Player Classic), the program that plays the DVD
"freezes". The player program is not hung, as I can click on things,
etc., but the video just freezes.

For now, I'm going back and disabling "Hardware Vitualization" in my
guests, but I was wondering if this is a known problem, and, also, is
there a patch/hotfix for this?

Thanks,
Jim
