VPC - Dos Shared folder not working

i had installed vpc 2004 on xpsp 2.and i installed dos from windows98 boot
disk and create a folder in c drive name C:\SHARED. and i try to share it
from settings.. the settings remain disabled. i cant share the folder...

pls help me regarding this

Additions so you need VPC2004 to find the file. But it works fine also
