VPC 2007 on XP Home System?

This is probably an old question, but I'm new! Bear with me.

I installed VPC 2007 on my XP Pro system and all is great. However, when I
attempted to install VPC 2007 on my XP Home system I got a message saying
that my OS wasn't supported. HOWEVER, after clicking the OK button, the
program pressed forward and seemed ready to install VPC. I stopped it,
thinking I might mess up my XP Home installation somehow.

Bottom line: will VPC 2007 install and run normally on XP Home? And before
you berate me, remember what I wrote about VPC pressing on with the
installation anyway! Thanks.

like MS VPC better than VMWare Server which I'm now using on my XP Home --
it's too bloated. I thought my hard drive was going to croak during the
installation of that 140 MB+ package!

I used vpc 2007 on vista home premium(also not supported)
the only problem I had was uninstalling vmc,vhd and vpc 2007 itself.

Also full screen was hard to minimize

vmc and vhd files are just "documents" to VPC2007 and they define a
particulat virtual machine. You never "uninstall" documents....
